Draw – Cut – Print – Repeat!! In this beginning printmaking class, learn the multi-step process that will allow you to produce quality block prints successfully and consistently. This is a fun, fast-paced, hands-on class for learning the basic techniques of linoleum block printing.

Description:
Chris will guide you step by step through the process – designing, carving, inking, and printing your creation. If you like, you can choose a design from one of the instructor-provided subjects, or you can bring your own good ideas (photos, etc.) and he will help you simplify them into a workable drawing. Starting with instructor-provided linoleum squares, you will learn how to safely use simple carving tools (v-groove, u-shaped, etc.) to get just the right effect. After inking up your block, you will experience the thrill of "pulling the print". Join the fun and check out a new medium. Great workshop for ALL!
